Walter Wisniewski, CFP®
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner
Mr. Wisniewski holds a Bachelors Degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Masters Degree from Columbia University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Walter Wisniewski is the founder, CEO, and President of Arcadia Wealth Management. Walter has been in the wealth management business for over 37 years, but he spent the earlier part of his career as a concert pianist. Using all his acquired skills, Mr. Wisniewski assists economically independent women and men to achieve a safe and secure financial future. In his book, The Millionaire Within, Mr. Wisniewski talks about the interconnection between emotions, money, and behavior as it relates individuals going through life changing transitions.
Walter is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and Rotary International. He is also an accomplished pianist and enjoys participating in Music & Memory, acting as a liaison between high school students and patients in nursing homes in order to bring music into people's lives.
Mr. Wisniewski and his wife Susan have been married for more than forty years and have three children. He enjoys reading, traveling, music, boating and fishing.
Allison Vanaski, CFP®
Senior Financial Planner, VP of Investments
Allison is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. She has been working on Wall Street since 2005 and joined the Arcadia team in 2012.
Allison is a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and approaches financial planning with the holistic view in mind without any conflicts of interest. A NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor must meet the highest competency standards in the industry and operate on an objective fee-only basis.
Allison holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Villanova University, with a minor in Communication. She was captain of the Varsity Softball team at Villanova and President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Allie grew up in Smithtown, Long Island, and lives in Rockville Centre, NY with her husband Scott and two children, Cooper and Reese. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing sports and traveling.
Vice President of Operations
Susan Wisniewski taught High School Mathematics for more than 15 years. She is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Arcadia Wealth Management.
Susan holds a Bachelor Degree from SUNY at Oneonta and a Masters Degree from SUNY at Stony Brook. She holds insurance licenses for life, health, property and casualty, and is a Notary Public.
Growing up Susan played sports coming from a family of five brothers. She lives with her husband and has three children who have also played sports throughout college. Susan now enjoys going to athletic events, reading and traveling.
Darlene Attard, CPA
Darlene Attard, CPA, began her career at Ernst & Young and continued with Citibank, N.A. where she earned her CPA License. She also has experience with mortgages and life insurance.
Darlene holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Adelphi University. She was captain of the cross country and track teams for Adelphi and Vice President of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. She is also a Dale Carnegie graduate and continues to study and teach tools for stress management.
Darlene lives with her husband and son in South Setauket. While taking time off to raise her son, she earned certifications as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Kundalini Yoga/Meditation Teacher. She enjoys teaching weekly yoga classes and workshops at Yoga For Life in Setauket and listening to her son’s performances with Stony Brook’s Pre-College Jazz band at the Jazz Loft.
Associate Wealth Advisor
Kelly is a graduate of Virginia Tech where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance on the Certified Financial Planner™ Education Track, with a minor in Mathematics. While studying at Virginia Tech, Kelly was a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) Student Chapter, through which she was able to meet financial advisors from across the country and travel to a Registered Investment Advisor conference with one of her peers.
She joined the Arcadia team in July of 2019 after interning with the company the previous summer, and she is currently studying to take her CFP® Exam. She enjoys learning new things every day about financial planning and about how to better serve the new generation of millennials – her generation! – who are entering the workforce for the first time.
Kelly grew up in Smithtown, Long Island and currently resides there. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and close friends, going to the beach, photography, and learning to paint.
